We welcome you to study in Osaka, a city full of cutting-edge technology and traditional culture!
Osaka, like Kyoto and Kobe, has been a thriving city for many years.
As one of the three largest metropolitan areas in Japan, the city has a well-developed rail network, skyscrapers, and shopping malls, and offers an urban lifestyle similar to that of Tokyo.
Osaka is also known for being a commercial city, so you will find it easy to find a part-time job, and the rent and cost of living are low.
The Shinsaibashi-Suji Shopping Street near the campus attracts many people every day.
Each region of Japan has its own dialect, but the Kansai dialect spoken in Osaka has become a major part of the Japanese language through television.
Thanks to the performing arts culture of Rakugo and Manzai, communication based on humor is an attractive feature of living in Osaka.
Message from the Principal
The Human Academy Japanese Language School was founded in Osaka in 1987.
Both in the past and today, international students come to Japan with dreams, hopes, and a high desire for the future. The first step is to learn Japanese, and for over 30 years the Osaka Campus has been supporting international students in their studies and helping them to realize their dreams and aspirations.
Osaka is one of Japan’s most attractive cities. With Kansai Airport as the sky gate to western Japan, Osaka now attracts people from all over the world, especially from Asia. In 2017, the number of foreign visitors to Osaka exceeded 10 million, versus about 2.6 million in 2013. More than a third of all foreign visitors to Japan now come to Osaka. Osaka is a modern metropolis, but it is also a very friendly place for foreigners, and Osakans enjoy talking and eating. Osaka is an excellent city for making Japanese friends.
From Osaka, it is only a 30-minute train ride to the ancient capitals of Kyoto and Nara, where there are many World Heritage temples and shrines, as well as the exotic port city of Kobe. Nowhere else in Japan can you find such a compact cluster of famous Japanese cities - Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, and Kobe - each with its own unique history and culture. Osaka and the Kansai region is an ideal place to learn about the history and culture of Japan.
With such a wonderful environment to learn Japanese, the Human Academy Japanese Language School in Osaka will do its best to help you learn Japanese as quickly as possible and give you the opportunity to succeed in the future.
Instructor Introduction
-
Nobuhiro Nakao
Hello. My name is Nakao and I work at the Osaka Campus of the Human Academy Japanese Language School. I joined the company as a full-time teacher in April 2018 and currently, I teach Japanese to students who do not have a student visa.
In my classes, I try to teach in a way that students learn independently and gain insights as they study. I know there is a lot of anxiety when you come to Japan for the first time, but both the teachers and the students are very cheerful people, so let’s enjoy learning Japanese together. -
Aya Itsuzaki
Hello everyone. My name is Aya Itsuzaki and I work at the Osaka Campus of the Human Academy Japanese Language School. I joined the company as a full-time teacher in July 2018. I currently work as a career counselor.
What made you decide to come to study in Japan? I think there are many reasons, such as wanting to go to a vocational school or university in Japan, wanting to work in Japan, or being a fan of Japanese culture.
I also studied overseas when I was a student. There were times when I couldn’t express myself well in words or had difficulties in studying, but many people supported me and it was a very valuable experience.
I know it is sometimes hard to adapt to a new environment, but please feel free to ask me for help whenever you need it. Let’s do our best together!I think one of the charms of the Human Academy Japanese Language School is that people from many countries come here to study with different purposes, and you can make friends with people from many different countries. All of the teachers and office staff will do their best to support you in order for you to become a person who can play an active role in the international community in the future.
We look forward to seeing you on campus! Thank you very much.
