When can I enter the school?

You can apply for the Advancement Course and Practical Japanese Course four times a year (January, April, July, and October), but you should consult with us and prepare your documents as early as possible because the application period for each term is set.
If you want to enter the Advancement Course or Practical Japanese Course, you need to prepare the necessary documents 6 to 7 months before you want to enter.
Short-term courses are also provided four times a year (January, April, July, and October).
Intensive courses are offered at any time of the year and are open to students of all levels. Please ask us for more information.

What do I need to enter the school?

If you wish to enroll in a short course or intensive course, you will need to submit the following documents:
(1) application form, (2) a copy of your passport, (3) a copy of your residence permit (for holders only), and (4) three certified photographs. Please contact us if you have any questions.

How do I apply?

For the Advancement Course and the Practical Japanese Course, please prepare the required documents and submit them by the required date.
After the school has reviewed your documents, it will submit them to the Immigration Bureau. For more information, please see here.

How long will it take for me to receive the results of my student visa application?

A
Your Certificate of Eligibility will be issued about two and a half months after you submit your application to the Immigration Bureau.
After you have received your Certificate of Eligibility from the Immigration Bureau, you can apply for a visa at the Japanese diplomatic mission in your country.
The results are usually announced one month before the start of the academic year.

How many hours of classes are given each day?

Classes are held 3 hours a day, which equates to approximately 600 hours of study per year.
The times of classes vary from campus to campus.
Tokyo Campus -Morning class: 9:15 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. / Afternoon class: 1:30 p.m. - 4:45 p.m.
Osaka Campus -Morning class: 9:20 a.m. - 1:10 p.m. / Afternoon class: 1:30 p.m. - 5:20 p.m. The Intensive Course consists of two 90-minute classes per day. In the case of other courses, it depends on the course.

We have a scholarship program for students with excellent attitudes, academic performance, and attendance.
Only international students are eligible for scholarships.

How can I prepare myself for higher education?

A
We hold an orientation at least twice a year for students who wish to continue to higher education. Students are expected to attend the orientation and discuss their goals with their instructors.
Before the summer vacation, students discuss in detail with their classroom teachers and guidance counselors about choosing a university and preparing documents. From autumn, students prepare the final documents. Your classroom teacher and other instructors will work hard with you until you are accepted.

Are counseling services available for students who want to learn about higher education and employment in Japan?

In addition to introducing schools and giving guidance on Japanese, we provide guidance based on each individual’s life plan, including interview lectures and information sessions for higher education, higher education workshops for graduates, and individual higher education counseling.
“Human Resocia” and “Daijob” also provide support to students in finding jobs in Japan.

What are the results for advancement to higher education and employment?

Can I have a part-time job?

If you have a student visa, you can work 28 hours per week after receiving “Permission to Engage in Activity Other than that Permitted by the Status of Residence Previously Granted” from the Immigration Bureau.

Total average price: 100,000 - 150,000 yen
(Examples of prices: Rent including utilities 50,000 - 80,000 yen, food 20,000 - 30,000 yen, cell phone 5,000 yen, transportation 10,000 yen, others 20,000 - 30,000 yen)

Will there be a lesson every day?

There will be a lesson every day. However, you are given the choice to take 2 lessons – 5 lessons a week according to your schedule.

Do I have to pay the tuition fee for several months, or for a full semester upfront?

We will only ask for a 1-month tuition fee. Only if you decided to continue for more months, you will be asked to pay 1-month tuition fee at a time. (If you prefer to pay for several months at a time, please let us know.)

Is the textbook fee included in the tuition?

Textbook fee is not included in the tuition. The amount of fee depends on which textbook your class will use for the lesson, and thus, our staff will inform you when you join the class. (2,000JPY – 6,000JPY in average)

Is there a class I can join on the weekend?

There will be no lessons for Intensive Course on the weekends. However, there will lessons for JLPT prep course or / and Business Japanese course occasionally on Saturdays. Also, you can take Private Lessons as well on Saturdays.
